Description:
An increasingly common pest, Boxwood Moths can cause significant damage to box shrubs. Buxatrap helps eliminate this problem so that your box shrubs can flourish, through biological control using pheromones to trap these pests before they can do any damage. The trap can provide season long protection over 180sqm, with active pheromones lasting for up to 3 months, before needing to be refilled additional pheromone cartridges.

How to use:
Put the trap in place at the beginning of the season (mid-April) before the first flight, to attract and trap the male moths and limit reproduction. You can also position the trap during the moths' flight season to monitor the potential level of infestation. 
  • Remove the syringe from the sachet.
  • Take off the cap of the syringe and syringe 2 - 3 drops of liquid into the first basket (the liquid gel is thick and won't run down).
  • Clip the basket inside the green cap in the dedicated area. 
  • Clip the green cap onto the see-through base cup.
  • Fill the second basket with the remaining contents of the syringe and put it in the centre hole of the green hat. 
  • Hang the trap using the small rope provided or put it on the ground or on a stake close to the box trees to be protected. 
  • For full season efficacy: apply a new pheromone syringe 3 months after the first installation.

  • Harmful to equatic life with long lasting effects
  • Keep out of reach of children. 
  • If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. 
  • Dispose of contents/container to a household waste recycling centre as hazardous waste except for empty containers which can be disposed of by recycling. Contact your local council for details.
